Has anyone interned in their field, or did bits of work experience, while teaching in korea, to keep their skills current? -good idea ...yay, nay? |

Depending on your visa class it is probably not legal (activity not explicitly permitted under your status of sojourn).

Thru you may want to consider finding a place to volunteer. Still will need to notify immigration about it. |

Yes,thats what I was thinking interning/volunteering,just to keep my skills current. Do you just contact the companies? |

Ya when I mean volunteering I meant charities, organizations, and maybe some government bureaus.
Companies not really. Immi would be suspicious, plus Korea does not really have the whole intern culture. (I could be wrong). |
