I heard somewhere that you no longer need an in person interview at your nearest Korean Embassy in the US - is that true? Does anyone have a link to something that says this instead of just saying it is true?
Tried to search but couldn't really find anything. Thanks |

It is up to your consulate. The consulate in Atlanta just sent the Visa stamp (to Florida) earlier this month with no interview not even a telephone one. I don't know if this applies to every applicant because their website says that you need one. You are just going to have to call or email your consulate if you want to know for sure. |

In regards to the interview, if you do have one... what kinds of questions do they ask? Will they ask if I have already been teaching (illegally) in Korea? If they do, will I be denied a visa? I am guessing so. This whole interview thing might just turn out to be a blessing! |

What? |
My school has broke contract several times. Resulting in a pay cut of about 10 grand for me. I have been trying to figure out what to do exactly... my husband works for the same school and we have children. Leaving is not exaclty going to be easy, but if getting a visa is unlikely it makes it a lot easier mentally! |
