So my wife and I currently live in Haeundae, but we're seriously considering a move to Gyeongju, only the problem is that the apartments there are somehow both more expensive and less desirable than what we've got right now in Busan---they're ridiculously small (even by Korean standards), they have horrible wallpaper, they're located in hideous neighborhoods, they have small windows or no windows at all, etc., etc. Crazy as I'm sure it sounds, I'm just curious if anyone knows of any nice affordable apartments in the area that don't totally suck in every possible way.
And also if anyone would like to compare living in Gyeongju to living in a bigger city like Busan, that would be much appreciated as well. Thank you! |

My wife and I own a 27 pyong apartment in Hwangseong-dong (three bedroom, living room, kitchen, veranda), which we are planning to sell. We're just planning to list it with a realtor and sell it at market value.
We lived in Gyeongju for sixteen years (It's my wife's hometown) and enjoyed it very much, but moved several years ago when I got a job elsewhere. |
