A new Gaelic Football team is being formed in Busan.
We are looking for people who are interested in playing. Whether or not you have played before, it is an excellent sport and a fantastic way to keep fit. At the moment we are just looking to see who's interested. If we get enough people then we can set up a club. People of all levels and abilities are more than welcome (both Men's and ladies teams will be catered for)!!
There are 2 major tournaments being held in South Korea this year - the Asian Gaelic Games (October) and the Seoul Gaels Tournament (September).
If you are interested in playing, or just coming along for some fun, please get in touch.
Email me at [email protected] for more information. Or you can check us out on Facebook under 'Busan GAA' http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_185812254799949&ap=1
Cheers!
(For those of you who don't know what Gaelic Football is, see below)

i've never heard of gaelic football before and i don't think i will have the time/balls/courage to play...
but after watching the video on the facebook page, i am now convinced that this is the coolest sport to ever exist. it's like somebody got wasted one night and, in a fleeting moment of brilliant clarity, decided to combine the best of rugby, soccer, and american football. |

When we get set up you are more than welcome to come along and have a look. It's a very addictive sport!!
It's the most popular sport in Ireland and there are currently over 6,000 GAA members (outside of Ireland) worldwide. There are teams in every corner of the world!
Even if you haven't played before, it is a lot of fun and it's something that you can pick up quite quickly. The competitions here will cater for all levels! |

|

The first ever Busan GAA Club AGM will be held in The Wolfhound pub, Haeundae, on Saturday June 11th at 9pm.
We will be deciding on (among other things) a club name, colours, playing gear, crest and club officers. If you are interested in playing GAA in Busan this year, or want a say in any of these matters then please try to be there!
Even if you haven't played before, don't worry, it's a fun activity, a great way to keep fit, and is very easy to learn!! There will be both men's and ladies' teams and players of all levels and ability are welcome!
Sponsorship opportunities exist for any businesses who may be interested. PM me for details...
See you all there!

@Evilgenius - I don't know where to watch them. I'm going to talk to the man running the local Irish bar to see if he will be showing it.
@Blondelizzard - Good to hear it! I'm hoping for a decent turnout. I'll see you there. |
