Can someone tell me how I can get Rogaine/Minoxidil in Seoul? Can I just go to a pharmacy and ask for it or do I need a prescription from a doctor? If so, would it be better to go to a dermatologist, or just my regular doctor (Dr. Kim at the International Clinic in Itaewon)? |

I saw Rogaine on the shelf in an "imported goods store" in Apgujeong the other day. No personal experience with the product, and no idea what the package / bottle size was (outer box was maybe 15cm x 10 cm x 7cm) or going rate in the west would be, but iirc it was going for 130,000 won. They had the "for women" variety too. |

You need a script. Just tell your doctor you want Minoxidil. |

No you don't. You can walk into most pharmacies and ask for minoxidil. There are some Korean brands that are much cheaper than Rogain. I have one called, in Korean, Ma-ee-nok-sil.
For Propecia you need a doctors presciption. |
