I just submitted my resume to RBI and literally 6 minutes later I got a reply. The reply has details on a school and asked me if I'd like to work for that school. Is it normal to get replies this quickly? Should I be worried about this recruiter? |

I don't think there's really anything untoward about that. Recruiters look for warm bodies that hagwons will accept. Realize that it's not a job offer until the school actually offers you a position. |

I realize this, but do they even look at the resume? 6 minutes? I guess if the recruiter was checking the email as I sent my resume and just opened it immediately. |

I've had interviews where the school hadn't even looked at my resume. |

Clearly it was so obvious that you're an excellent teacher that there was no need for further scrutiny. |

This means you passed the first vetting stage.
They looked at your picture and then checked if you graduated from university. My guess would be that you're under 30 and not bad looking. Maybe an education degree or at least some teaching experience.
They've decided that they can place you at one of the schools and make some $$$.
Next stage will probably be a phone call to check if you have a nice sounding voice.
I am guessing you are looking to go to Busan as RBI is one of the biggest recruiters in town. I've gotten a couple jobs through them in the past and they were really good to work with and very helpful. And I know lots and lots of people that have as well. KimnJoe and Su are another good source for Busan. My guess would be that you'll be getting lots of job offers. Make sure you talk to the teachers working at the schools and ask lots of questions! |

Consider the time difference. There is a person at a recruiting agency waiting for emails like yours from 9am to 9pm. If you emailed the recruiting agency while someone was alive, awake, and in front of a computer and you might even potentially have something they can make money off of, you're in business. |

Alright, I wont' analyze it too much. No phone calls yet. I emailed them back and said I'm interested. Sounds like RBI has a pretty good reputation. Hopefully they'll contact me soon.

I'm in luck here! I have and excellent sounding voice. I used to do voiceovers.
What is the website for KimnJoe and Su? |
