Can anybody recommend a good barber for men in Seoul. I'm talking about a guy who is not afraid to use the razor and ideally he has the attachments to go up the back on a no.3 or a 2 and can speak good English?
I'm used to being a bit dissatisfied in Korea because of just getting a trim when I want something sharper.
Much obliged if you can help!!! |

There's a great one right outside Aeogae station, line 5. Can't remember which exit, but look for the "TwoTwo's" chicken, and the haircut place is to the side on the 2nd floor. The cost was only W10,000-W15,000, and they did a great job every time. They don't speak much English, but they have a huge book with pictures for reference. |

If you go straight on from the subway in Itaewon, then turn right at the fire station and go up there a bit, there's a little barber on the right.
It's only 7,000 for a men's cut. I can't tell you about the ability because I have a simple cut. Apparently he worked for a while in Essex, UK so he should be ok with normal cuts. |

I can vouch for this guy. He's REALLY good. |

Anything near Hongdae/Sinchon/Hapjeong? It seems like everything around here is a proper salon. All I need is an old ajumma who knows how to do a basic cut. Less than 10K is a plus. I walked around for nearly an hour the other day and had to settle for a place across from Yonsei. It was good enough, but a bit out of the way. |
