The only cell phone I ever had was a prepaid for 10 euro and I spend no more then 20 euro on calls in my entire life.
Just to make clear that I'm an absolute cell phone dummie.
Now that I moved to Seoul I am considering to get proper phone. The most important additional functions for me would be 1)GPS and 2)internet. It would be very helpfull for me if I could get some advice on what to buy. What would be the cheapest phone with either GPS and internet or only one of these functions?
I would prefer not to sign on any contract running longer then a year. |

I'd recommend going to a bunch of used cell phone dealers in Yongsan to find out a variety of phones with the specs you need. Write down the prices and model name and numbers, then look them all up on in the Internet on your own. When you figure out which one you want, go back and buy it.
I realize this is a long way to go about it, but unfortunately cell phone dealers often won't let you play with their phones much to see if you like them (this is also apparently true with used cars; you can't test drive cars for very long, if at all). |
