|
|
I'm almost finished at my ps and the contract states that I get a direct flight (economy of course) back to my home country. Now it looks like I have to buy the ticket and the school will reimburse me later. Fair enough.
But the school would really like me to get a non-direct flight as a one way with Korean Air is about 2 million. I know it's my right to have a direct flight, but it's left me wondering if I could negotiate something if I didn't fly with Korean Air. Not extra money, but maybe finishing my contract early or extras days off or something.
I'm expecting a firm NO from my school, but was wondering if anyone has done (or at least asked for) something similar. |

You are aware that "direct" flight (in airline terminology) does NOT mean non-stop.

Well direct means one flight number from the start of your journey to the end of your journey. Forgot to add that I'm flying to London and the only airline this applies to is Korean Air (maybe Asiania too).
But thanks for the heads up. If I'm picking apart the fine print, then maybe they will to. I'll settle for something for cheaper otherwise I'll be flying with Aeroflot or China Eastern (god forbid!). |
