|
|
I have smoked two transformers already on the grill I picked up in the US recently. The first was one of those very small plastic transformers, and the seconds one was one of the larger metal ones (with a small handle on top). I guess I need one with a higher wattage (the grill needs a 1,000 watt power supply). Any idea where to get one? |

what I mean to say is that the transformer began to smoke a few minutes after I plugged the electric grill into it; obviously the grill is pulling more watts than the transformer can supply; gotta find a bigger one somewhere........... |

how big is your grill?
Those transformers aren't cheap. They sell George Foreman (aka Jackie Chan) grills in Korea. With all that money you are putting into getting transformers, wouldn't just buying a Korean George Foreman grill be better? |

It is 110 v, 1400 watts; you're probably right about getting a Jackie Chan grill, but I didn't know about them till you mentioned it.......... |
