| I am just curious, how long did it take you to get the job offer from when you first sent your application out to an agency? |

It varies with the time of year.
Dec-Feb (when the PSs are recruiting) it takes a matter of weeks.
April,May = can take a while.
June-Aug (again busy)
Sept-Nov = slow.

| I first contacted a recruiter in August 2008. I was on a plane less than a month later. There was less competition then, and no FBI check. |

GEPIK issues (and lack of new recruitment) were taken into account.
