So I finally get my Xbox 360 slim modded and a week later these blasted XGD3 compressed games start coming out. I don't wanna shell out another 80k won for those Yongsan guys to re-flash my firmware to 1.92, is there anyone on Dave's that can do it?

Or should I just wait for LT 2.0?

Anyone else in the same boat?

Everyone is in the same boat since LT 2.0 has not been released yet, and no one knows when it will be. Nothing you can to but wait.

Also, the slim xboxes are a pain in the ass to flash. If you had one of the old ones I would be willing to do it for you.

Yeah... freakin' slims. Thanks anyway.

What are your thoughts on the x360key? Apparently it plays XGD3 games without a hitch. The devs released a video of it playing Driver: SF. It'd be nice to play games off an HDD as well.

Wow I just had to google that to see what all the fuss was about. I feel your pain though as I have been stuck on v3.55 custom firmware on my ps3 for months now with no new games being playable.

I'm wondering what is the best and cheapest option these days for playing games in Korea. Personally I liked renting them and buying the really good ones to play online.

The LT2.0 firmware for the old fat consoles with samsung, benq, and liteon drives was released today.

Still not released for slim consoles or for old consoles with hitachi drives.

I don't know when the Yongsan guys will start doing this, but I would assume right away.

I just flashed my benq drive myself, working great so far.

The slims are too hard to flash at home as you need a bunch of equipment, so I'm hoping the Korea modders will be getting to it quickly. I'm in Busan, so I might have to wait longer.

Indeed. Let's try to keep each other up to date with these things.

My guy at Yongsan doesn't know ANYTHING about the process other than, "flash firmware". He sends it to his hacker guy so I can't ask about the process unfortunately.

The annoying part is, I JUST got my 360 modded for 80k won... hope I don't need to pay that again just to update the fw :/

Yes, was at Yongsan yesterday. The usual guy usual guy i talk to (who i had not seen in a long time) knew nothing of Jtag glitch hack or Wasabi/Xkey.

Confused

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xkey has already had a firmware update to allow 0800 games. http://www.x360keyforum.com/index.php?sid=d89c311e4ab1bad0534fd31851977f8d

wasabi is shipping

The jtag won't become popular until it can load a hacked dashboard and hence backup games.

Did you know that I have to burn a hole in one of my xbox microchips just to flash it? Dang!

LT 2.0 is out.......... now it's just a matter of time 'til Yongsan starts doing it.

Also... 2.0 apparently isn't passing some checks for Forza 4.... so they'll be rolling out 2.1 soon in order to deal with those checks. Probably doesn't matter if you don't play online with your modded box.

For me, I just want XGD3 support :/ Literally EVERY new game now is XGD3. I NEED to play Driver: SF

it might b written on the outside of ur optical drive case...it was on my first modded 360 here. of course, u have to open the 360 case up, but it's not that hard.

WASABI yser guids says.
Once you have obtained the DVD key for your Xbox 360, you shoul d have a file called Key.bin which contains the
16-byte key in binary format.

I think to get it into binary I need jungle flasher and an sata port, but i only have a notebook pc
