Time again for that most ancient and venerable Dave's institution, the Saturday Night NHL Pick 'em Game!

All are welcome.

Here's the rules, as laid down by our ancestors many years ago...

"I post the NHL Saturday night games and you pick the 5 teams that you think are going to win.
Each correct pick gets you a point.
Get all 5 picks correct and get a bonus point.
Every week, one game will be designated as the GAME OF THE WEEK, which will be worth two points. Total possible points for a week is therefore 7 points, something we here at the NHL PICK 5 like to call a COOL BURN!

DEADLINE for picks is 30 minutes before all the games begin."

The way we picked Game of the Week last year worked quite well.

"We take turns picking Game of the Week, which should will always be posted by Thursday at the latest.
Game of the Week pickers' order will be determined by the order in which the Week One picks are received. I'll go first, to keep it simple."

Season starts on the 7th, and the the first Saturday games are on the 9th.
