|
|
I recently purchased my ticket home for the end of my contract and my school will reimburse me for it as soon as I give it to them (I'm not worried about that).
My question is, since my ticket was purchased in won on Delta's website will they reimburse me that amount, as that's what the ticket says, or do you think they'd reimburse me the actual amount in USD that was charged to my card (at that days exchange rate in won), which is about 50,000 won more than the ticket price listed on my e-ticket? Does anyone have any experience with this?
I called Delta and they said they can't send me anything stating the USD amount of my ticket.
Just figured I'd ask and see if anyone has dealt with this before. I wanted to purchase the ticket in USD, but no websites (Korean or American) matched the price as Delta's site for this flight (it's actually a Korean Air flight). Thanks. |

If you have access to your credit card info online, you can show your boss the damage. Its likely at his discretion whether or not to reimburse the extra $50. |

if you look in your contract, their should be a clause that states the maximum reimbursement you can get. mine was a flat fee of 700won, but all contracts are different. |
