|
|
I will finish my second contract in Korea in December (at a hagwon).
I have my apostilled diploma on file as well as my FBC check that I submitted in December 2010.
My plan would be to apply for EPIK now, finish out my contract in December, hopefully get accepted to EPIK, then go back home and come back in February for the new EPIK term.
My question is, do I need to get new documents again? How does it work with me already in the country? I thought I read somewhere that if your documents are already on file, and as long as you don't leave the country for more than 90 days, you're good to go.
Any help is appreciated |

We are in EXACTLY the same position as you
We didn't know about this 90 day rule so we have ordered up copies of all our documents just in case and I'd advise you to do the same.
If you find out about this 90 day rule, be sure to let me know please |

IF you get the paperwork for the transfer done before you go you are fine.
If you need a new visa then "maybe" (it will be up to EPIK) to decide what they want from you (employer requirement and not a Kimmi one).

I would look into it, though I thought they didn't except fbi background checks that were older than 6 months. |
