My apologies... I'm sure this is an annoying re-post. I've attempted to use the search function, but the site freezes every time I do so...
I will be changing schools in February and I am unsure what documents I will need to do so. I've been here for 3 years at the same school, so the renewal process in the past was rather easy.
What documents will I need to change from one school to another after my current contract is up?
Thanks for any help anyone can throw my way... |

Unfortunately for you, because of the time-frame you have been here for, you will be falling into the gray area of if/then/maybe's.
IF they have a K-consulate certified CBC you won't need one.
IF they have a K-consulate certified COPY of your degree you won't need one.
IF you change before the end of 2011 you may not need them.
IF you are missing one or the other AND you are extending your status of sojourn at the same or different employer in 2012 you WILL need to get it done BEFORE you will be allowed to extend, renew or transfer.
In addition to those 2 documents you will need the same other documents as prior extensions (for a new extension or transfer to a new job).

Ttompatz,
What about extending a contract for three months at the same school? I supplied a notarised/apostilled CRC and diploma copy last November for my current job, and now want to extend until February of 2012. Do I need to hand over NEW copies or am I more or less good to go? |

Should be good to go if they have an apostilled "national" CBC on file.
IF you are American and they only have a state CRC on file then you get ONE change of status in 2011. If you haven't used it then you are good to go. IF you have then you are NOT good to go.
If you are American and they have an FBI check on file you are good.
If you are from anywhere else you are OK.
