I doubt I'm the only one, but whenever I go out to eat there's NEVER correct change I always feel like I'm the person overpaying. The money isn't the issue here, it's usually a few bucks, but just the fact that it happens so often.

Don't get me wrong, I love going out to eat with friends, but when it is time to pay it's always a disaster. Someone always gets shorted, blah blah blah typical rant I feel like Larry David.

It's simple really, all you have to do is bring extra 10s, 5s, and 1s with you. When an offender starts crying about not having exact change - offer to make change for them.

Very Happy

That happens with me too. Just go with the flow and trust that the universe will take care of u when u are in need. Money is never worth stressing over.

.

Money doesn't go on trees and there's no reason why you should have to pay more. Trust me it's not always an accident, I love my friends but sometimes they can be real cheapskates also.

I would tell them I only had enough for my own check. So I'm not commiting any faux paus, I would prepare the money before hand and let the rest remain unseen. What makles them think my money is
less valuable then theirs?

Of course there are a few friends with whom money is no object, because I know they can and will reciprocate. I disregard all cheapness for these friends and we share the wealth as we acquire it. But everyone else can eat it!!

That is the ONLY gripe I have about eating out with friends in Korea.

I should just carry smaller bills before I go out I suppose.

We all just put 10k in at the end of the meal and then split the change that the restaurant gives us.
