As gleaned from a bilingual flyer:

God new revelation

Are there any common points and what are the common points among France in the Age of Louis XIV, the Golden Age British Empire, the America in the nineteenth century (??) and the modern age China? Certainly there is! All the said countries have started their own style billiards since the said age, which is Carom billiards originated from France, Billy and snooker billiards originated from British Empire and American pool (8 ball) and American pool (9 ball) originated from America. Nowadays, a new type of Chinese billiards, which is Four Men billiards, emerged in Beijing! The game is a Chinese style and has achieved breakthrough innovation in both the shape of billiard table and the method of play compared with other styles.

The US "Time" magazine has indicated in a piece of recent article that, the today's China likes the US in the ninteenth century very much. At that time, the US was still a country taking agriculture as the leading position and experiencing a great transformation and urbanization and industrializing economies. In the 1850s, the US was a world factory, manufacturing lots of cheap but excellent quality textiles, clocks, guns and other commodities. Pilfer edition overrun the market and the foam of speculative real estate industry has broken, all the characteristics are much of a muchness with today's China.

However, the following facts have been omitted: in the nineteenth century, the US has modified the billiards introduced from Europe, and then the America pocket billiard emerged, what is the same that is that, in today's China, a type of Chinese billiard game....Four Men billiard (two-four people) emerged through using the experience of several classical types of billiards, especially the experience of some thoughts of the America pocket billiard game. We can't consider the editors of Time magazine not clever enough, the real reason is that they haven't the foreseeing ability to predict the things which haven't happened. France in the Age of Louis XIV, the Golden Age British Empire owning Indian colonial, the America in the ninteenth century and the modern age China, all of them are in their heyday or is going to be in their heyday, while all of them have created their own type of billiard game during this age. This is an important historical rule which is overlooked by innumerable historians. It was a revelation from God that China would succeed America to be the most powerful nation in the world.

China is powerful because it makes the worlds cheap products, polluting and defiling their country (and surrounding ones eventually) ?

It takes more than simple industry to be a world empire...

Well that's what the other ones did...Rape and pillage the lands and in the case of the other three, the people.

What do you think it was all 'innovation and intellectualism'?

China is becoming a monster!

Asia is the new super continent and China is the heart in the middle of it!

The 'western world' is screwed - The US will decend into another civil war and will eventually break up!

The UK will turn into one large brothel - where rich Asian guy's will go to have there way with a 'whitey' woman.

The irish and the scottish will remain unchanged - drunk and cheerful.

Canada will remain a frozen wasteland.

SA will go full circle, white people will become the new black people - after a huge race war!

You heard it here first folks!

Then the US will drop a few hundred Nukes on China when they dont get their own way and the world ends! Twisted Evil

So live for now - not the future!

I don't think so.

Manufacturing and cheap labor makes a superpower. Like it did for Britain, Germany, USA, Soviet Union and Japan. ......

......plus, there are still billions more people on this planet who don't have the appliances and consumer goods that we in the developed world have. But they want them. And China can grow and grow by making them.

The only thing that might stop China will be the expected decline in oil production and the energy crisis that will doubtless follow.

The largest threat to China in the short term is it's lack of water in key areas.

Water will be the new gold in the future!

Wow, shouldn't you be busy over at korean sentry?

The innovation and intelectualism was what allowed the takevover genius. If the British were still walking round in loincloths and chucking spear, I doubt their bids at Empire would've worked.

It's not as either / or as you'd like the world to be.

And the lack of the 'new' fuel - trees. You heard it here first.

Also, China has a plethora of societal issues and environmental
issues that will only perpetuate its implosion.

There are bigger issues in the world, I know. I just had to
take care of the world I know.

So you're saying all the innovation happened before colonialization?

Just how do you think all the cotton got to England to set up their great textile industry back in the day? Cotton don't grow in England. Do you think that was freely traded? Who picked the cotton again?

Innovation and Exploitation both took place. The went hand in hand. They fueled each other.

But, that doesn't make it right to invade other people and rape their land.

Wow, someone actually endorsing what happened to slaves and the Native Americans and colonization. Wow.

So yeah, when China rapes and pillages the land and treats its minorities like crap its following the playbook of other great powers.

Surely building ships and superior weapons to colonize countries that couldn't adequately defend themselves was a form of innovation, no?
