At one point they were hot, but now they are not. Who are your nominees?

I have three at the moment:

Christina Applegate
Cameron Diaz
Uma Thurman

Christina Applegate sure hit her peak early on in life.
This is most often times the case: Young people who are good looking in the mid-late teens turn out to be sort of uglier as they age and get older.
Some have great facial symmetry and proportions when they're young, but then the inevitable aging process takes place and your eyes move wider along your face, nose gets bigger and your whole face sort of stretches from the center on out, moving those once-killer facial features out of place.
Of course, the opposite is also true. Ugly people you once knew in high school grow up to be kinda cute.
It all just matters at which point you were blessed with good features and how your face grows. If you were good looking early on, you may grow up to be uglier, if you were ugly early on, you may grow up to be cute.
As always, there's exceptions where people are good looking their whole life--Jennifer Aniston.

I never understood the whole Jennifer Aniston thing. I think she is very regular looking. But, I often think that "regular" looking people are better looking than celebrities these days. (So, i think she is an attractive, albeit regular looing woman, not beautiful).

Plastic surgery and botox have not been a boon, IMO. Having everyone striving to look the same is very boring. But then, when I used to draw portraits, I thought that interesting looking people were so much better to draw than so called "perfect" people.

Christian Slater. All I can think of as I head off.

Well, I am speaking from a woman's perspective. I thought Julianne Moore was much more beautiful (although she is starting to do the "heaven forbid I age thing" which I think ruins someone's looks....like Nicole Kidman).

Ah, yeah, Nicole Kidman. She was so amazing looking, then she starting botoxing and bleaching everything. Why does she insist on being blonde?

A lot of these actresses start losing their looks at an early age. Can't forget the picture I saw of Elisha Cuthbert without makeup a couple of years back. Frightening.

I think they lead quite busy and stressful lives, really. And I guess it shows

I agree and would also add some cosmetic surgery gone wrong, drug and alcohol abuse with what you wrote.

Elma "nasty toes" Therma was never hot. When I saw her feet in Kill Bill, I almost threw up.
