Anyone know where is the best place to go to buy moderately priced clothing similar to a mall back in the states here in Busan?

Looking for clothes like I would buy in America similar too

Express http://www.express.com/home.jsp

Go to Uniqlo in Nampo Lotte Department store. Korean men's fashion is terrible. Uniqlo is Japanese, and thus the only decent place in Busan for men's clothes.

Unless you really love the polo shirt with a popped collar look, then by all means go shop in one of the underground shopping malls!

Uniqlo is very reasonably priced, basically Japan's answer to GAP.

Jesus no, I got a great pair of jeans for 50k won. T-shirts, shirts, etc can cost anywhere between 5k or 50k.

http://www.uniqlo.com/us/

Uniqlo has a few stuff I could buy. Jeans look alil plain though. The GAP comparison was dead on. Not really what im looking for. Need something with alil more flare like Express from back home. Def gonna hit up those cheap vneck tee's and a few other iteams at Uniqlo though.

Any other good stores in the Namp Lotte Dept Store?

I'm also an Express guy and I find Uniqlo to be a bit boring for my tastes.

If you're willing to spend you can find pretty much anything at the major department stores (Guess, Levi's, etc.), but they're awfully pricey. I can't speak to Busan specifically, but I know that Seoul has several shopping areas that are mostly made up of small stalls. You can generally find pretty decent jeans there for half or less than what you would spend at a department store. That said, the department store will likely be a significantly less stressful experience if you don't speak Korean.

So i went to Uniqlo today. Decent stuff. Jeans are not as plain as I thought. Worth a purchase of a few. Only problem is they only have one size length or something and for my size (88cm) the length is long as hell. Anyone know where to get them tailored at?

Also on the slimfit jeans the crotch shows through lol

I thought that was the whole point of slimfit jeans hahaha.

But yeah, they basically do only 1 length for each waist size. I've found that's pretty standard with Korean trousers/jeans. Every pair of trousers I've bought had to be taken up 2 inches or so, and I don't even have short legs. Uniqlo jeans fit me ok, so that's lucky I guess.

As for tailors, you should see clothes repair shops nearer markets/'older' parts of town, I notice quite a few of them while wandering around.

Uniqlo offers free hemming on pants that cost over 30,000WON. Take them back with the receipt and they should do it.
