T'way (formerly Hansung Airlines) will start direct flights from Incheon to Bangkok Friday.
The daily flight will depart from Incheon at 8:30 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 12:05 a.m. The return flight departs at 1:25 a.m. and arrives at 8:25 a.m.

Hope it lasts and does well-- but with Tomato Savings Bank as one of its two main investors, it doesn't sound all that promising... |

Their fares are a joke!
I went on their site to see what the fares would be like. One way, they are charging 490,000KRW. So that means round-trip of over 1,000,000KRW (when you factor in taxes)!!!
When will we get some real "low-cost" airlines here? Sure, AirAsia and Cebu Pacific offer some great fares...but I'm talking the local low-cost airlines...some of them started off with good fares, but have since been raising them ever since. |

Give T'way time but considering that both Jeju Air and Jin Air aren't cheap at all despite being "budget" carriers, I won't hold my breath. |
