You have an actual dream of being in the "National Championship of Rock, Paper, Scissors."
I came up one loss short of winning it all. I remember being so upset when I woke up because I almost won and apparently there was a lot of money on the line.
It figures, the Korean kids always beat me in real life, too.. =(

When you start speaking in your "teaching voice" to normal people.
When you go back home and are amazed that all the Koreans can speak English, but you still talk to them like Koreans in Korea. |

Real people don't do this. Only those that don't have the mental capacity to separate their work lives from their private ones.

Oh yeah, I'm amazed people in an English speaking country speak English. |

Criminey Christmas, chill out.
It's called a slip. This thread is about our foibles in living in Korea for goodness sakes. |

Now now, you know that everything we say on here must be part of some deeper social commentary about our state. No room for jokes or fun on ESLCafe! Get with the program, soldier!
Disclaimer: Yes, the above paragraph is indeed a joke. |

+1
Especially the loudness factor. I've got two friends that do this. Come on now, the bus is not your classroom and people in the restaurants or bars are not your students and do NOT need to hear every word of your sentence. |
