If you like Kung Fu movies, of course.
Mine is The Crippled Avengers (1978). |

I was gonna say "Fist of Fury" but then I realized that is the same movie as "The Chinese Connection"
I love the "sick man of Asia" and "no dogs and Chinese allowed" scenes, where Bruce just totally flips out and kicks all the Japanese imperialists' asses
I guess I'm a hypocrite because I when Koreans talk about how much they hate Japan, but when Bruce Lee beats up a bunch of Japanese people I think it is awesome. |

Stephen Chow's "Shaolin Soccer" is a fun flick. "Kung Fu Hustle," from the same director, is shown quite a bit on cable here as well but I've never seen it with the English subtitles.
I'm into Jet Li's earlier stuff, "Once Upon a Time in China" (1991), "Tai Chi Master" (1993), "Last Hero in China" (1993).
Of and on, they show "Rumble In the Bronx" here on cable which was Jackie Chan's first leap into Hollywood.
"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"
I'd like catch more of what China has to offer but I'm still trying to get subtitles to work.

Yeah it's a wuxia flick which is a little bit different from a kung fu flick.
A lot of people rag on that movie but I thought it was quite good. Cheesy, but good. It really puts you in a mood that is hard to describe. I saw it in the theater when I was about 16 years old, and it was one of the things that originally made me want to learn Mandarin. I ended up majoring in Chinese in college. |

"The Prodigal Son" is one of the best I've ever seen. Dude with really deep set eyes is a great martial artist.
Drunken Master II is way better than the first and the story is completely unrelated.
Please recommend more. I've never seen Crippled Avengers. Will watch soon. |

Not sure if it would count, but always had a soft spot for the ass-kickingly awesome Ong-Bak. |

Shogun Assassin technically isn't kung-fu, but it wins with me anyway. |

Ong Bak - It's not Kung Fu but still martial arts. Just watched Ong Bak 2, also (2008 release) and tonight it will be number 3 - just released I think.
Tony Jaa - The world seems to be naming him the new Bruce Lee. However he's gone and become a monk for an indeterminate amount of time now.
His style is my favourite, on par with the silly improvisations of Jackie Chan.
