|

I tried using Gmarket (korean version and english version) but its just too confusing and doesn't like to work sometimes.
I used to use ebay all the time back in the states and was so much simpler than gmarket here.
Just wondering if it would be the same in the states or would there be more charges or possibly things are much expensive since shipping (if worldwide shipping)?
Anyone use ebay in korea and anything i should be worried about? Or just go ahead and go for it?
or give gmarket another chance? If so, anyone have a guide or something so i can understand how to pay, etc or what i have to pay with? |

I have only got a few things but here is what I found
reduction of choice - Not all people will ship to Korea. Those 15 choices become 5.
price - exchange rates, shipping, service fees.
time - what once might have taken a week or two will now become a month or two. |

when i was back in North America, all of the crap i bought from ebay usually came from China. So basically, I don't really have any problems buying from korea because most of the chinese ebayers ship internationally anyway.
if they ship internationally, there isnt anything different you should worry about that you shouldnt already be concerned about back home...sometimes you get taxed, sometimes you dont.

Some Korean sellers won't ship to Korea. Tax reasons. I bought a lot of film from this seller and he wouldn't ship it to me. I could buy it in person in his store, but the price was higher. Lots of ebay people in Korea are companies/businesses and they sell their stuff tax free because they sell it overseas, so watch out for that. |
