Does anyone have a recommendation for places to stay in Gwangju? I'm not fussed about what kind of place. I just need a place to sleep. |

Lots of friends stay at a motel called Windmill. However, if you ask cabs to take you there they migt not have a clue, so ask them to stop at the
Migliore (Meelyoray).
1)When you got off from the Migliore cross the street.....
2)Walk away from downtown past a Twosome Cafe, past some hanging metal things over you playing music, passed a government building.
3)You should see a small alley before a pet hospital with a green sign.
(The motel is in that alley).
Look for a pet hospital, veterinarian with a green sign. Go into the small alley and walk down, and you'll find the windmill. It will cost you about 35,000 won a night. If it's booked. There are others in the area.
I'd show you around, but I won't be in town this weekend. |

Tons of motels behind the bus terminal, and a few around the train station. |
