I would like to come to Korea before my contract starts and was wondering if there is such a thing as substitute teaching or filling in anywhere? I realize that private tutoring is illegal (I read that) so I guess I am asking if there are any other options?

If you are coming in on an E2, for all intents and purposes, it is NOT possible for reasons of visa restrictions and in practical terms.
