|
|
I received a 'E-2 Applicant's Health Statement' from a recruiter and just wondering about the following question:
1. Have you ever taken any Narcotic (Drug) OR Have you ever been addicted to alcohol?
If the answer is yes (I have taken a Narcotic before, oops!), will this be a problem?
Will answering yes impact my visa application?
Thanks

| If you answer "yes' to the narcotic question your visa will be denied. So I believe you know what to do now... |

I would seriously doubt your logic there to be honest. If you're currently getting wrecked on the regular then you should be seriously considering whether or not this is the right time for you to do this anyway.
If you've done stuff in the past and are now over it enough to pass a blood test then ticking yes there would be application suicide.
This is all a guess though as, for the record, i've never taken a restricted drug in my life. |

This really seems like something that is none of their business, doesn't it? But, of course, you should answer honestly and enjoy your new teaching job in China. |

| Question like those are just there to filter out anyone dumb enough to mark it as "yes". What do you expect? A pat on the back and a certificate of honesty? |

No.
Its just like applying for a job stateside. They put up ridiculous requirements and couple that with even more ridiculous HR departments.
The only way to get ahead is to lie your ass off and have a smile while you do it. |
