hi all,

1) if any of the forum experts could please give the Korean translation for "severance payment"

2) also, is severance paid yearly into your bank (for each year of work completed) or when you finally leave the job?

i thought it was to be paid out when you leave the job, but my director is saying it should be paid yearly into your bank account?

would there be any problems if he wanted to pay yearly? (side note i've been at the same academy for 2 years)...

im not sure if the director and I are talking about the same thing. i said severance equals 1 month of pay for each year worked and he's saying
that's what he is talking about also.

I would take it if they offered to pay the severance. Why not do it monthly then? Get your salary + 1/12 of your salary in that case.
