I was wondering what kind of experiences people have had with interviews lately. How common is it to have a mock teaching as part of the interview session? How about a Q&A with the other teachers, Korean-style...with like, 3-5 instructors there? Has anyone had to take a test or provide an on-the-spot written sample for an interview?
I heard Chungdahm, one of the large chains, makes you take some sort of training session that's supposedly hard on some first-time teachers. Is that a rumor or is it true?
And I'm wondering if these practices are becoming more common these days...due to the increasing pickiness of employers. |

From what I've read, Chungdahm has unpaid training for one week. Should be alright if you are good at memorization.
My interview at another school was basically couple questions asked by the director. |
