|
|
One of my Canadian friends is currently hospitalized in Korea. She needs to go directly from the hospital to the airport when she heads back to Canada for medical reasons.
I'm trying to make sure she gets her pension. I know you need the person's bank account, ARC, Passport, and proof of departure like a plane ticket. I've gotten my own pension refund once and I've helped others get theirs. So I know the normal procedure. However, she is unable to go to the pension office herself to apply. Is there a way that I can do it for her? Or, can she apply for her pension refund after she returns to Canada? If so, how?
Any help is appreciated. |

| Get a power of attorney form signed by your friend appointing you to handle her pension matters. |

She also can apply in Canada. It's all on the internet, look up the government branch. |
