It's partially the goaltenders fault. From my limited knowledge of soccer, I'd say plays like this are routine (minus the goal part). Better communication was needed too.

Actually, that was 99% the goalie's fault, not the 'ashtray's'...He made a smart play by sending the ball back with the other attacker sprinting down the field. Goalie should have cleared that out.
