I know of the dozens of places in the bar districts like Hongdae, Itaewon, Konkukdae and Gangnam but am interested in knowing any other areas that offer shisha.

Specifically the Sadang/Isu area but any other neighborhood would be nice to know too^^

side story but the hookah bar i went to in hongdae was a wacky experience. it was a closing time and i got invited to the manager and his friends' table where i got offered cuban cigar that was said to be illegal. he then started to ask me about marijuana in the states which i admit made me more than a little nostalgic. he said he had tried it several times but now is hard to get in the city, and that i should drop by in the future if i ever want some. lol. i'm probably never going back there but man, what a temptation.

p.s. the cuban cigar made me throw up in the taxi.

i dont like the look of rainbow (i think it looks like a dirty garage) but their shisha is amazing. the blue mist and strawberry margarita flavors are awesome. you can smoke anywhere from 10 to 22 thousand won i think.

in itaewon, you can smoke at brixx, the new petra on the main drag by fry pan (15,000won), roofers which is across the street from the foreign market (10,000 won), maharaja which is a pakistani restaurant off of african alley (10,000won), ali baba (never done it there myself), and the restaurant on the dunkin donuts corner above dunkin donuts whose name i know cant remember but i remember it cost like 20,000won.

There's only one place I know of in the Sadang/Isu area. It's a chain called "Cool Luck". They actually have about 30 locations all over Korea. They all have shisha on the menu but it's definitely not the focus of the place. Most people are just in there drinking beer and soju. They have a fairly limited selection of flavors, and whenever I've been there they always seem to be "sold out" of at least half of them. But it's an option at least.

i think i want to start an fb group, "shisha in south korea" or something. i found an existing group but it is no longer active. before i start a new one,does anyone know of an existing active fb shisha group that i could join?

ahh this post makes me miss home, are there any hookah lounges in the Busan area anyone knows of???

G8 has hookahs, as does Yeti (seen but never smoked) in Hongdae.
