Is anyone else up for this? With halloween just around the corner, i am psyched about finding a haunted house/location for ghosts. I have always been a fan of the paranormal and ghosts and would LOVE to find somewhere that is haunted/has rumors to be haunted.

Does anyone have any valid advice on hauntings and areas. I would GREATLY appreciate it. Plus maybe find some people interested in the same thing

If you ask a Korean, pretty well everywhere is haunted.

However, ghosts have better things to do than sit around abandoned buildings all day and night.

Heres a nice summary of popularly imagined Korean ghosts: http://blog.korea.net/?p=4426
[Has lesson material potential too.]

A lot of otherwise worldly Korean adults I've talked to about ghosts would be deeply reluctant to go anywhere near a graveyard after dark.

I lolled.

That said, there is a creepy-ass apartment building next to a graveyard on highway thirty-six somewhere between JeungPyeong and Cheongju (maybe between Eumseong and JeungPyeong, I can't quite remember.) It's not very old, but quite run down and mostly deserted. Some people still live there, but according to my wife most have left because of weird goings on in the building and immediate vicinity. Whatever the case (gee, it's a dump in the middle of nowhere next to a [smallish] graveyard) it apparently did wreck the owner financially.

You could always just walk around and look for some dingy looking shack and camp out there for the night.

I've never gotten people who are all about "getting scared" through roller coasters and haunted houses or ghost searching.

If you want to get scared, just walk through Gary, Indiana. All that other stuff is just waste of time scared.

If you do a search there was a thread on this that I remember from a few years back. Apparently, there are some haunted places that you can probably go to. I'm not sure if you can go in them but maybe look from a distance. It was a while ago so I don't really remember but happy haunting.
