Hello
My first post,
Anyways I need a computer for playing with pictures from my cannon s50 and internet stuff. I don't really play computer games but i would like to download movies, music and shows from North Am. I saw a post for this specs
HP Pravilion ZE4500
Athlon XP processor rated at 1.87 GHZ
256 MB DDR
CD/RW and DVD combo drive
40 GB hard drive
Would something like this do it or should i look for something else? the person wants 500,000won for it. |

If I am correct, the post you are talking about is for a damaged laptop for which you would need to buy an external monitor for.
If not, the speces should do fine for what you are trying to do.
Minimum processor speed for video is a 400mhz pentium 2. That is minimum. You should have a lot more if you want consistency and quality.
If you are planning on photoshopping your pictures, I would recommend more RAM. At least 512MB. If you are only using the software that came with your camera for minor editing, 256MB will be ok.
If you aren't going to play games, you don't really need a smokin' video card.
For 500,000won you can build a pretty nice computer here if you have the know how. Just buy the parts online or go to Yongsan and pick out what you like. Desktops are fairly cheap to build. |
