I've never used it before. Pros/cons?

I had one for a while - and haven't used it in ages. Photo uploading is a pain and, unless they updated the interface, it's not exactly user-friendly.

It's falling out of favour. I think Koreans don't even use it that much anymore.

Korean web design leaves a lot to be desired, unfortunately. Cyworld ain't bad, but it ain't great and since the introduction of things like Facebook and Twitter (or me2day) it's really going out of fashion.

Cyworld is generally considered a girly thing among Koreans. I remember my students asking me if I used myspace back in 2009, I said I used facebook and their faces looked blank. Never really liked myspace. Anyways, fast forward to early 2011 a mini-wave of former students start requesting to be my friend on facebook. I figure they are a little late to the show, I have barely touched my facebook page since 2010. I guess I'm just waiting for the 'next' thing in social networking to pop up.
