is it possible to get there using line 2? or too far to walk? What station and directions is best to take if it's an option?

I understand line 5 is the closest of course but since I live 15 mins away on line 2 it could save me time (15 mins as opposed to almost 40 mins including 2 transfers)

You COULD walk from Jamsil or Jamsilnaru, but it's a bit of a hike. You can take line 8 up from Jamsil to Mongchontoseong (one stop away) and walk through Olympic Park. You can also learn the buses around there - plenty of buses go from Jamsil toward the east and go by Olympic Park. Buses are the best bet, Line 8 is second, and then full Line 8 to Line 5 is third.
