| Does anyone know how I can get a 2012 US Residency Certificate so I can exempt myself from Korean taxes? If I'm reading the instructions right, I'm only supposed to be able to get a certificate for the current year or previous years. The problem is, I'm supposed to be in Korea by mid-February, and even if I applied for my certificate on January 1st, 2012, I probably wouldn't get it by then. Does this mean I just have to bite the bullet and pay Korean taxes for a couple months until I get the certificate? or is there some way around this? |
