Hey guys,
I'd really appreciate your advice on this.
Can I transfer money from my Korean account to my foreign account outside the country. I have my Korean card but not my bank book and the foreign info. I'm with KEB bank and it's a Saturday so I assume I can't phone KEB bank or can I? I really need to transfer the money asap. Is it possible?
Thanks for any help you can give on this. |

Do you have internet banking set up for your KEB account? If not, my guess is that it will be quite difficult... |

It's sounds like you've made the right move by going with KEB! Congrats!
Try these things:
1. If you are with KEB, then open an account for USD.
2. Open a Passbook account. What a Passbook Account does is it will automatically transfer money back to your home bank account in the U.S. or whatever English speaking country you're from. You can never withdrawal from a Passbook account.
3. Tell KEB you want internet banking and telephone banking. You can do some wire transfers over the internet. |
