I bought a pair of expensive shoes today. I tried them on in the store but when I got home and tried them on they were too tight. I have kept the receipt and not worn the shoes outside. I would like to exchange them for a bigger size.
Does anyone have any experience of returning shoes/clothes that didn't fit? It was at a Les More shoe shop in Sinchon. |

The only store I've found, anywhere in Korea, with a reasonable return policy is Costco. |

Refund/exchange goes like a breeze here. You can even get refund on grocery things easily. You don't even need to explain the reason why. As long as you have the receipt and the product clearly hasn't been used, it will go smooth.
Wife bought an expensive handbag a while ago. After using it for two weeks, she figured it's not what she wants. She kept the tag which she put back on and had the receipt as well. Got refund without any problems.
She tells me that many women buy expensive stuffs for job interviews and meetings and they return them on the next day or so. |

UPDATE
I tried to take the shoes back to my local Les More store but they told me I had to go to Sinchon. There were no problems getting my money back at the Sinchon store. The shoes were in new condition with the tags still on them. I was told I have 7 days to return any other purchases in the future.
All's well that ends well. |
