just thought id get that off my chest...

i have recently just wasted, i mean spent 400,000 on an ipod (when i could have bought a much simpler to use, Samsung).

Anyway, I do have a legitimate question.
When i am trying to set up an itunes account and it directs me to the i store, everything comes up on korean on my computer. Is there anything I can do about this?
(apart from ask my gf to suffer the same hours of boredom and frustration i am, trying to set up an itunes account by looking over my shoulder and translating for me).

thankyou

Try making an american or canadian account. Which ever country you're originally from. Signing up for itunes in US is free. So you don't need CC# to register.

So everything will come in english and no restrictions on games either.

pretty sure you do need to provide a CC number to actually download anything however. That includes free apps and games.

edit: there used to be a work around by purchasing and activating an itunes gift card on the account, but i have never seen one of those for sale in korea. I know that when I was setting my GF's up a few years ago I had to get a card number sent from home by one of my buddies as she did not have a CC that was usable with itunes.

You can set up an itunes account without a cc by simply choosing a free app from the app store on the computer and then create an account. You'll see an option for no cc when it comes to payment.
