Okay so I'm coming back to Korea to teach English again. I was already there for a year and before I left I made sure to get my F-4. However, when they gave my F-4 they only changed my ARC and did not update my visa in my passport from the previous E-2 visa I had. I am concerned - do I need to get a new visa? How would you do that? Or will my F-4 alien registration card be enough to get by immigration? Anyone had any experience with returning to Korea with only an ARC and not a new visa? I appreciate any suggestions or help with this in advance! |

You know if you look at the lower right hand corner at the front of your ARC there is a telephone number to your local immi office call and ask them I think they have changed the policy last year. But then again they change policies every year. |

not exactly the same situation (E2>F4).....but I renewed my F4 last year and they just updated my ARC only (they didn't put a new updated stamp in my passport).....I double checked to make sure a new stamp wasn't necessary. Everything is in the computer system as long as you show your ARC. |
