Where to get a good old fashioned truck stop breakfast at a decent price?
Eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, toast, coffee.
I queued up at Butterfinger Gangnam for 20 minutes this weekend.
Breakfast was twenty thousand with the coffee.
Seems rather dear. |

Gorcery store, make at home.
Breakfast culture in Korea is not about the greasy spoon BK. So if you want to eat that cheaper, like I said buy the stuff and cook it home.
If you must, try the better hotels, they typically have a buffet that includes part or all that you mention but it will be cheap.

There is a diner at the USO. It's located on the light blue line between Sookmyung and Samgakji. It's cheap and authentic greasy spoon fare

DIY is the way to go with this. Can get pretty much everything you need in HomePlus, just don't expect the sausage and bacon to be too good. |

the Wolfhound in Itaewon do the best value and best tasting (imo) fry-up in Seoul.
They do a jumbo version that comes to arounf 15k I think. I just had the regular and it was easily enough, you get 'proper' tea there too. I'd say my opinion counts fwiw, as my Dad is a builder and decorator and I used to work for him on and off so have had some of the best fry-ups in the south of England lol.
Get in mate, ave it. |

At least you can get what you've described.... My favorite breakfast is Huevos Rancheros.... |

The canteen at the USO closed a while back. If it has re-opened I'd be glad to hear it. |

Butterfinger or Suji's. Not cheap but worth it. |

What about the All-American diner? I was there this weekend and had a country fried steak. It wasn't perfect but very close to home and they had a lot of breakfast stuff. |

If you are looking for "greasy spoon" I think the American Diner in Itaewon is your best bet. I have eaten a number of good breakfasts there which would equate to a Denny's style breakfast. However, they are not consistent when it comes to quality... so, it's always a bit of a gamble. I'd say 75% of the time they get things "right." |
