| Hi, I work at a small hagwon (I'm the only foreign teacher) and I was told today that I need to go the hospital and do another health check. Apparently the law changed in October and I have to do it again. Does this sound right to you? I am already 6 months into my contract and I got my ARC 5 months ago. |

| i honestly don't know. this is the second i've heard of it and the first wasn't even from my own school, so my knowledge is third-hand, and the first source was my friend's korean bosses. but my friend said the haeundae police dept. (?) is requiring all foreigners to get their med checks done again and it needs to be done by the end of january. again, this is only what i've heard, and it sounds pretty odd to me, so don't take my word. |
