Hi there, quick question: if I am already enrolled with the NHIC, does the national insurance cover the health check-up required by the MoE (the one that includes THC and other drugs)?
I automatically assumed that it doesn't but found this on the NHIC website: http://www.nhic.or.kr/english/usrguide/guide06.html
Unfortunately no word on required health checks that include drug testing.
I really don't mind doing it, but last time it came up to almost 100K... not exactly chump change. However, back then I was not (yet) enrolled with the NHIC.
PS: as a side question, do all NETs have to do this? My academy got a call from some branch of the gov't reminding them to get all foreign teachers tested. |
