The overall gist of the article seems to be that you should have been a skeptic prior to the release of his research, but now that he has spoken your skepticism can cease. |

Now we still have to figure out if the heating of the world is also not partially due to normal fluctuations as witnessed in billions of years of history in the soil of our planet ... |

Those fluctuations throughout billions of years took place over a lot longer period than the last few decades we have seen recently. |
