Why are the older students, sixth graders, so obsessed with killing and dying?
anytime they are given free dialog or writing activity thats what i have to deal with.
is it funny? not a taboo? they dont even show knives on tv... discuss. |

well they actually show quite a bit on tv and you can watch tons of movies etc that show killings. actually a lot of my 6th grade boys dont mention killing too much they talk about how different things die like in their card game yugioh how monsters kill each other. of course in this society, things of this nature are talked about more too. but not neccessarily in a bad way. are you more in teh country or city? |
