I know it sounds funny, but I have two friends coming to visit me next week and they want to see what all the hype is about. Anyone know of any tournaments coming up in the next two weeks? Thanks!

Very Happy

SC1 or 2?

If SC1 is okay, Yongsan has them on weekends, holidays.

SC2 (RARE) has the WCG tourney going down in Busan ATM. Check the WCG or GOM player websites for info.

ipark E-sports stadium seems to be the place we seen Starcraft tournaments on TV where they are sponsored by Shinhan bank as seen on their headphones. I never found out the schedule, but took the elevator up there 3 times on Saturdays trying to see if I could go experience it, but it was not happening then. Maybe try on Friday and Sunday evenings? I never could find a website about it.

Do they still do it sometimes at Coex mall?? I got dragged along one day and sat in for a taped starcraft battle (or whatever you call it) a few years ago... this Korean guy with a row of fangirls vs some French guy. They showed it on TV that night which was amusing...it was a pretty small room/studio though, I think it was kinda around the movie theater? I remember it was fairly easy to get into though, we just had to wait in line a little bit. Maybe because I dont play the game, but after 10 min I was really bored...it got old fast.

Hey~

Sc1 and Sc2 are in different locations.

sc2 is in mokdong studios.

sc1 has two places. MBC and OGN. You might want to check the days etc of when your favorite player is playing.
