I've got less than a year in Korea and I want to buy either the Galaxy S2 LTE HD or the Nexus Prime when it comes out. Because I can't get a plan I'm looking for any recommendations on where I can buy a contract-free phone.

When I go to any of the KT/SK phone shops, I'm quoted just below 900,000, would an electronics market be better? can i bargain?

I find it strange that in Korea the best price i've seen for a Galaxy S2 is 800,000 but I've found a store in Hong Kong selling it for 450,000. (I'm going to HK for new years so waiting till then is my back up plan). Any suggestions for bringing down the "retail" price of a contract-free phone??
