Quarantine laws will not change until December 1, 2012 for dogs and cats!
Man, I am so happy. I was going to make a special trip just to get my dog before the change. This just saved me a bunch of time and a few dollars! |

Too many to list. Here's a link to all of the conditions: http://ajosshi.com/?p=381 (click the photo 2x and you'll be able to read it)
For someone starting out with a dog, it will be $500+ and 4-5 months to comply. This is much more expensive and time consuming than getting the FBI CBC and all of the apostille stuff.
For all you pet people, save your money, and plan way, way ahead. Good luck, folks!
Edit: It doesn't really matter now, but the new laws were for Dec. 1, 2011. |

Anything to control the number of stray cats running rampant is welcome although I doubt foreigners bringing over their pets and setting them free is the problem. |
