Is it too late for me to get accepted to EPIK spring 2012 semester? I just applied yesterday.. I havent even sent out an criminal background check to the FBI. I looked to get an appointment for finger printing with the nyc fingerprinting department but the only available time is Nov 27th.

With current delays, you may be unlikely to even have your documents (FBI CRC with apostille + degree copy with apostille) in hand before the next term starts (90 days hence) never mind be able to apply for and get accepted into the next EPIK intake.

There is virtually no chance of getting the paperwork done in less than 90 days and EPIK will be finished recruitment in about 40 days.

IF you can get your paperwork done prior to late Feb. you MAY be able to find a PS job via private recruitment by a school who didn't get an EPIK candidate but would be unlikely to make it directly into EPIK.

For the December deadline, does that mean that I would have to get all my documents in before the deadline? And would you happen to know when the Fall semester application starts so that this time i can be ahead of schedule rather than behind.

If you do not have your documents in hand your application doesn't go anywhere. You are no different than any one of several thousand tire kickers who have looked at the pretty brochures and will never leave home.

You can't get a NOA or a visa until your documents (with apostille) are in Korea.

Start now and your documents should be ready for the 2012-13 mid-term recruitment (applications from April to June 2012) if you want EPIK.

Without your documents in hand now you have NO chance of landing a position in the current EPIK recruitment drive.
